Jim spent 18 years as a professional surfer and has more than 20 years of surf coaching experience. His background in professional surfing and his deep knowledge of Costa Rica’s waves shape the personalized coaching experience we offer today.
Jim’s son James grew up in Costa Rica immersed in the surf lifestyle. After reaching the quarterfinals of the Pipeline Pro Junior during his first trip to Hawaii, he continued pursuing his passion as a free surfer and waterman.
Today, Jim and James share their knowledge, experience, and love for the ocean with surfers from around the world.
